Antique 1900s Edwardian jacket
Late 1800s or Early 1900s antique jacket or bodice in a lovely shade of brown. swing silhouette. double collar with longer flap at back. long sleeves. cord appliqué trim around collar and gathering at back waist. the decorative cord appliqué is reinforced with very tiny gold wire throughout, so intricately made. single hook and eye closure at collar. jacket is lined with black cotton shirting that is attached to the inside of the jacket similar to a dickey. shirt lining has two button closure. There is also a tie at the interior waist. sleeves are lined.

Great vintage condition! a couple of tears on the interior side of the hem, small holes in the collar plus a few scattered pinholes. the interior belt is torn and brittle (though still functional). The jacket overall is very sturdy and structurally sound. Presents beautifully. Sold as is.
